ABOUT...
I'm an American of Irish-Italian descent and lived in NYC many years
before relocating to Paris. It was my living in Paris that opened
me to the mystery and power of healthy sexual expression.
By experiencing erotic and sensual pleasure as one of the most
natural highs in the world, I came to passionately believe in its
utmost importance for a well-balanced satisfying life.
This personal revelation hit me like a thunderbolt.
I came to recognize that bodily pleasure and sensuality are indeed
basic elements of life, yet it seemed to me as if society itself
conspired to choke the life out of these vital life affirming forces.
Rules, negative conditioning, expectations, demands, needs, schedules,
performance – from the home front to the work place and every stop in
between. And yes, though to a much lesser extent, even in Paris.
I
graduated from UCLA with studies in Sociology and Psychology
and happily set out into the professional world, with no
particular roadmap in mind. I came to work in media for many years and
became a rather highly regarded television executive in both the U.S.
and Europe. But when the thunderbolt lodged in my soul, I slowly began
to leave my successful television career behind.
Professional training, workshops, massage, peer counseling,
research, liberation theatre, and fantasy play are but some of the
experiences which helped me prepare for the work I do today. In
addition I bring my intuition, integrity, skill and compassion.
I have just
completed a professional credential as a
Certified Sexological
Bodyworker (CSB) in the only graduate school of human sexuality in the
United States, The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.
This program is endorsed by the State of California's Board of
Education.
Today I am truly at one with my passion and profession.
